Parabola Coffee

Established in 2018, Parabola Coffee began as a passion project that quickly progressed from online/delivery only to opening its first physical location in 2020. Through the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation (JCNI), in collaboration with Visual Asylum, Parabola was given a branding refresh to help it stand out amongst San Diego’s caffein landscape. Custom calligraphy/lettering leads the way for the unique and striking identity with branding applications that include stationery and merchandise. The calligraphic flourishes within the logo are a playful and unexpected take on parabolas which help create a strong, ownable, mark.
